Estimation Engineer - • Minimum 6–8 Years Of Experience In Construction Estimation

The Estimation Engineer is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates and tender submissions for construction, industrial, oil & gas, infrastructure, and maintenance projects. The role includes reviewing tender documents, performing quantity take-offs, obtaining supplier and subcontractor quotations, conducting cost analysis, preparing technical and commercial proposals, and supporting project handover.

The ideal candidate should possess a strong Civil Engineering background with proven capability in estimating Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, and Instrumentation works for multidisciplinary EPC projects

Skills
Tender Management
• Review Invitations to Bid (ITB), RFQs, RFPs and tender documents.
• Analyze tender scope, specifications, drawings and BOQs.
Civil Works
• Earthworks, Concrete, Masonry, Finishing Works, Roads, Bridges,
Mechanical Works
• Piping, Structural Fabrication, Fire Fighting Systems, MEP
Electrical & Instrumentation Works
• Power Distribution, Cable Tray, Cable Pulling, Cable Termination, Switchgear, MCC, Transformers
• Earthing, Instrument Installation, PLC, DCS, Fire Alarm, Telecom, Fiber Optics
Cost Estimation
Prepare cost estimates for:
• Materials, Equipment, Manpower, Consumables, Tools, Transportation, Profit Margins
Vendor & Subcontractor Coordination
• Obtain supplier quotations.
• Obtain subcontractor quotations.
Proposal Preparation
Prepare:
• Technical Proposal, Commercial Proposal, Qualifications, Proposal Submission Package
Risk Assessment
Identify risks related to:
• Procurement, Schedule, Construction, Commercial Terms, Technical Scope
Coordination
Coordinate with:
• Procurement, Planning, Construction, Commercial, Finance, Clients, Suppliers, Subcontractors
Reports.
Prepare and maintain:
• Cost Estimates, Bid Comparison Reports, Supplier Comparison Sheets, Tender Register


4. Qualification
Education
Mandatory
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
Preferred
• Bachelor's Degree or additional training in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or Project Management.
• Knowledge of Electrical and Mechanical engineering estimation is highly desirable.
Experience
Mandatory
• Minimum 6–8 years of experience in construction estimation.
• Proven experience preparing multidisciplinary estimates for Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical works.
• Experience with EPC, industrial, infrastructure, or oil & gas projects.
• Strong experience in quantity take-offs, BOQs, and tender preparation.
Preferred
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the Saudi Arabian market.
• Proven experience in Saudi Aramco projects or major industrial clients such as SABIC, Ma'aden, SEC, SWCC, SATORP, YASREF, or similar.
• Experience in Greenfield, Brownfield, maintenance, and shutdown projects.
• Familiarity with Saudi Aramco engineering standards and procurement practices.
8. Software Skills
Proficiency in:
• Microsoft office
