We are looking for a highly experienced Track Works Manager to oversee railway track construction, installation, and maintenance activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing track works operations, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards, and delivering projects efficiently within schedule and budget requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and supervise all track works activities, including track installation, turnout installation, rail welding, and destressing operations.
Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily construction activities to ensure timely project delivery.
Lead site teams, subcontractors, and technical personnel to achieve project objectives.
Ensure compliance with applicable railway standards, project specifications, and HSE requirements.
Coordinate with engineering, quality, and construction teams to resolve technical and operational challenges.
Monitor workforce productivity, equipment utilization, and material requirements.
Prepare progress reports and provide regular updates to management.
Identify project risks and implement corrective actions to maintain schedules and quality standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Railway Engineering, or a related discipline.
Minimum 10 years of experience in railway track works.
Proven experience in track installation, turnout installation, rail welding, and rail destressing activities.
Strong knowledge of railway construction methodologies, standards, and best practices.
Excellent leadership, planning, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple teams and stakeholders in a dynamic project environment.
SCE registration is an advantage.
