Fish sorting that depends on human hands is slow, stressful for fish, and variable in accuracy. Whooshh's GateKeeper sorting gate, integrated with FishL Recognition, is an automated fish sorting device that classifies each fish in milliseconds and physically routes it to the appropriate destination based on species, origin, and condition. Up to 40 fish per minute, 24 hours a day. Native species go upstream. Invasive species are diverted. Hatchery fish are separated from wild fish. All without anyone touching the fish.
