Business need / Purpose of role:
The Assembler is responsible for assembling and testing products, and for troubleshooting and resolving issues
Assembles and tests machinery and equipment under direction of engineering and manufacturing staff.
Key Responsibilities and Specific Accountabilities

Health and Safety
1. Responsible for leading and encouraging the company to always act safely and responsibly and ensures staff are empowered to use their Stop Work Authority without repercussions
2. Leads by example in supporting HSE through active participation in reporting, reviewing, and investigating incidents
3. Complies with company requirements for number of observation cards submitted and holds his direct team responsible for the same.
4. Proactive approach to the management of environmental health and safety standards and practices.
5. Report any incident or accident immediately on time to the HSE.
6. Pparticipate and investigation for accident/incident related to the department.
7. Ensure we closed action items which related safety.
QUALITY
1. Responsible for ensuring the QMS System is appropriate and up to date
2. Is responsible to ensure that all staff act in a responsible way towards Quality and feel empowered and engaged to ensure work is completed correctly.
3. Responsible for quality of all products, services and facility capability and cleanliness. Manage all warranty and scrap expenses.
4. Ensure the work scope which done is comply with QMS system.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS .
Participate in pre-job and Toolbox meetings with crew members.
Follows established Assemble processes and procedures.
Assemble components of all Product Lines. Select correct tools and fixtures.
Ensures assemble is done safely and efficiently.
Ensure teamwork is ability to: read Cameron Technical Drawings, Bills of Material (BOM’s) Quality plans, Work instructions, procedure.
Uses the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement, wherever applicable.
Look through work orders to determine daily tasks.
Create labor records for all transactions.
Performs tasks associated with troubleshooting.
Daily update the assemble bord.
Daily visual inspection for the tools.
Maintain the tools used to create products.
Look through work orders to determine daily tasks.
Will perform or assist with tasks associated with cleaning, sand blasting and painting of finished assemblies.
Confers with engineers, production personnel, or others to resolve assembly problems.
Ensure the employees are using the tools as per the standard.
Keep a clean and well-maintained workspace to 6 S standard.
Make sure proper hand over daily update the logbook.
Report any unsafe practices and /or conditions to their supervisors /team leader
Report all near misses, incidents, injuries, including mobile equipment or property damage.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Improvements to work techniques.

GENERAL INFORMATIONS
The position will have no direct reports. This position reports to the Team Leader. Peers include other shop floor employees.
Nature, Scope and Requirements
The Assembler receives tasks related to operations from the Team Leader. The Assembler has the authority to make operational decisions in consultation with the Team Leader.
Person Specification - Job Knowledge / Education and Qualifications / Personal Attributes
REQUIREMENTS:
Sound knowledge of the Engineering and Service industry Engineering or Technical background.
Product knowledge Preferred.
Excellent hand-eye coordination.
Ability to create and Interpret technical documentation
Willingness to work in flexible shifts
Preferred:
Good Communication skills
