Key Responsibilities
Supervise steel fabrication activities according to approved shop drawings.
Plan and allocate manpower, machines, and materials.
Ensure fabrication is completed as per production schedule.
Monitor fit-up, cutting, drilling, assembly, and welding activities.
Ensure welding is performed in accordance with approved WPS and applicable codes (AWS D1.1).
Coordinate with QA/QC for inspections and resolve quality issues.
Verify dimensions, alignment, and tolerances before dispatch.
Maintain production records and daily progress reports.
Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and safe work practices.
Coordinate with the planning, QA/QC, and painting departments to meet project deadlines.
