•Tender & BOQ Preparation: Analyze client specifications, Single Line Diagrams (SLD), and architectural drawings to prepare exact material take-offs and detailed cost breakdowns.
•Component Sourcing: Evaluate and select appropriate electrical components (breakers, relays, contactors) from manufacturers like ABB, Siemens, Schneider, and Eaton.
•Vendor Management: Float inquiries to suppliers, compare technical and commercial quotations, and negotiate pricing to secure the best rates.
•Compliance & Standards: Ensure all technical and commercial proposals comply with local regulatory requirements (e.g., IEC standards, local utility codes).
•Value Engineering: Identify alternative, cost-effective design configurations without compromising quality or safety specifications.
•Cross-functional Coordination: Collaborate with the design, procurement, and project execution teams to facilitate a smooth handover of awarded contracts.
Qualifications & Education: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
Experience: Typically, 2 to 5+ years handling LV switchgear projects (MDB, SMDB, DB, MCC, ATS, Capacitor Banks).
Software Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD, and specialized electrical software like ETAP, Ecodial, or EPLAN.
