Key Responsibilities
Execute high-quality fusion/mechanical cable splicing and termination following Aramco standards and project specs.
Perform pre- and post-splicing testing (including OTDR, insulation resistance, HiPot, and continuity tests) and prepare formal test reports.
Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair damaged cable joints or connections on-site.
Coordinate directly with site engineers, QA/QC inspectors, and Aramco representatives to verify jointing/splicing quality.
Maintain specialized tools, splicing machines, and safety kits in peak operational condition.
Adhere strictly to Saudi Aramco Work Permit System (WPS) and site safety procedures.
Key Requirements & Qualifications
Certification: Active Saudi Aramco Approval / BCSI Certification for Splicing (Mandatory).
Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in Aramco or major industrial/infrastructure projects in KSA.
Technical Skills: Expertise in fusion splicing, cable termination, OTDR operation, and diagnostic testing equipment.
Document Status: Valid Transferable Iqama and active Aramco Vendor/ID portal clearances (for local hire candidates).
Safety: Strong knowledge of Aramco safety guidelines and hazard recognition.
Transferable Iqama / Valid Work Permit / Rental Contracts: Required (for local hire candidates).
Excellent communication, analytical, and technical reporting skills
