Lifting Engineer, Lifting Supervisor, Rigger Level 1 TUV

Develop lifting plans and lifting studies.
Perform engineering calculations, including:
Crane capacity and load charts
Ground bearing pressure
Rigging calculations
Sling and shackle selection
Center of gravity calculations
Select appropriate cranes and lifting equipment.
Prepare lift drawings and method statements.
Conduct risk assessments for lifting operations.
Ensure lifting plans comply with applicable standards (e.g., ASME, BS, LOLER, OSHA, or project specifications).
Provide technical support during critical lifts.
Degree or diploma in Mechanical, related Engineering.
Experience in lifting engineering and crane operations.
Knowledge of engineering software and crane load calculations.
Certification in lifting engineering (where required).
Supervise all lifting activities on site.
Ensure lifting operations comply with safety regulations and company procedures.
Verify that cranes, lifting equipment, and accessories are inspected and fit for use.
Conduct pre-lift briefings (toolbox talks) with the lifting team.
Ensure the crane operator, riggers, and signalers understand their roles.
Monitor weather and site conditions before and during lifting operations.
Stop any unsafe lifting activity immediately.
Ensure exclusion zones are established and maintained.
Coordinate with other site personnel to avoid conflicts during lifting operations
