Lifting Engineer, Lifting Supervisor, Rigger Level 1

Lifting Engineer ,lifting supervisor and rigger level key responsibilities:
Develop lifting plans and lifting studies.
Perform engineering calculations, including:
Crane capacity and load charts
Ground bearing pressure
Rigging calculations
Sling and shackle selection
Center of gravity calculations
Select appropriate cranes and lifting equipment.
Prepare lift drawings and method statements.
Conduct risk assessments for lifting operations.
Ensure lifting plans comply with applicable standards (e.g., ASME, BS, LOLER, OSHA, or project specifications).
Provide technical support during critical lifts.
Review and approve changes to lifting plans when necessary.

Typical Qualifications:
Degree or diploma in Mechanical, Engineering.
Experience in lifting engineering and crane operations.
Knowledge of engineering software and crane load calculations.
Certification in lifting engineering (where required).
