Job Summary:

*Cost Control Engineer Required*

A leading Construction Company is seeking a highly skilled and analytical *Cost Control Engineer* with relevant experience in Saudi Arabia to join our dynamic construction management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, monitoring, and controlling project costs throughout the project lifecycle while ensuring financial efficiency, budget compliance, and timely reporting. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, excellent knowledge of construction cost management, and experience working on large-scale projects.

* Requirements: *

Education: Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, Finance or related field.

Experience: 3–5 years of experience in cost control within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Proven experience in construction projects, including:
-- Infrastructure Works
-- Landscape Works
-- Building Construction
-- Fit-Out Projects
-- MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) Works

Software Skills: Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent scheduling tools

EPR Systems: Experience with ERP platforms for cost tracking and reporting

Cost Estimation Tools: Advanced Excel, Power BI, or specialized estimating software

EVM: Earned Value Management systems and KPI development

Certifications: Certified Cost Professional (CCP) — AACE International
Project Management Professional (PMP)

*Key Responsibilities: *

- Develop and maintain project budgets, cost plans, and cost control systems.
- Monitor project expenditures against approved budgets and identify cost variances.
- Prepare accurate cost reports, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
- Analyze project performance using earned value analysis (EVA) and cost performance indicators.
- Review BOQs, estimates, contracts, and change orders for cost implications.
- Coordinate with project managers, planning engineers, procurement, and finance teams to ensure effective cost management.
- Monitor commitments, purchase orders, subcontractor payments, and material costs.
- Evaluate variation orders, claims, and budget revisions.
- Support tendering activities by providing cost analysis and historical cost data.
- Ensure compliance with company financial procedures and project cost control standards.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend value engineering initiatives.
- Maintain accurate cost records, documentation, and project financial databases.
- Prepare monthly cost reports, management dashboards, and executive summaries.
- Participate in project progress meetings and provide financial performance updates.
- Assist in project closeout by preparing final cost reports and lessons learned.
