The Royal Commission for Riyadh City (RCRC) launched the fourth phase of its Main and Ring Road Axes Development Program, allocating SAR 9.8 billion for four major road projects across the capital. The initiative spans 40 km of corridors and will accommodate more than 950,000 vehicles daily to ease congestion.Project BreakdownThe SAR 9.8 billion investment covers four vital thoroughfares:Sheikh Jaber Al-Sabah Road (Southern Section): A 12-km stretch featuring 6 main intersections, 22 bridges, and 3 tunnels. Designed to handle up to 350,000 vehicles per day.Prince Turki bin Abdulaziz Al Awwal Road (Central Section): A 9-km route equipped with 3 intersections, 6 bridges, and 2 tunnels. Planned for a daily capacity of 200,000 vehicles.Najmuddin Al-Ayoubi Road (Western Section): Spans 13 km with 3 intersections, 3 bridges, and 2 pedestrian bridges, adding a daily capacity of 200,000 vehicles.Prince Mishal bin Abdulaziz Road: Covers 6 km and includes 2 intersections, 2 bridges, and 4 pedestrian bridges to support 200,000 vehicles daily.
