China Railway 18 Bureau is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented QA Engineer (Documentation) to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in quality documentation, document control, and Quality Management System (QMS) implementation for high-rise construction projects.
✔🤞Key Responsibilities
Prepare, review, and maintain quality documentation, including:
Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)
Method Statements
Material Submittals
Maintain and monitor quality registers and logs, including:
WIR Register
MIR Register
Material Approval Log
Test Report Register
NCR & SOR Register
Concrete Pour Log
Calibration Register
Coordinate inspections with consultants, clients, and project teams.
Review material test reports, inspection records, and quality documentation for compliance.
Ensure all activities comply with project specifications, approved drawings, and ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System requirements.
Prepare weekly and monthly quality reports and monitor quality KPIs.
Support internal quality audits, NCR close-out, corrective actions, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure proper document control throughout the project lifecycle.
👌✔Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
3–5 years of QA/QC experience in construction projects.
Strong experience in QA documentation and document control processes.
Hands-on experience with:
WIRs & MIRs
Material Submittals and Approvals
Test Reports
Quality Registers and Logs
Sound knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System.
Familiarity with construction standards such as ASTM, ACI, BS, EN, and SASO.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel & Word).
Experience with document management systems such as ACONEX is an advantage.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
Preferred Skills
Excellent organizational and record-management abilities.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple quality logs simultaneously.
Ability to work independently while supporting the project quality team.
