Water Treatment Plant Operation & Maintenance Project – Saudi Arabia
Position: I&C Supervisor
Fastep Arabia is looking for an experienced and qualified Instrumentation & Control (I&C) Supervisor for a Water Treatment Plant Operation & Maintenance Project in Saudi Arabia.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise all Instrumentation & Control maintenance activities for the Water Treatment Plant and all associated equipment.
Conduct maintenance on plant instruments to ensure 100% reliable and safe operation of the desalination plant.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on field instruments, including FIT, PIT, TIT, AIT, MOV, FCV, MCV, PCV, FS, LS, PS, Junction Boxes, PLC Marshalling Panels, and related equipment.
Carry out calibration of plant instruments using HART Communicators, Druck Calibrators, Vibration Meters, mA/V Loop Calibrators, and other standard calibration equipment.
Perform troubleshooting, loop inspection, configuration checks, calibration verification, and spare parts replacement.
Install, replace, configure, and commission new instrumentation as required.
Lead and supervise a team of Instrument Technicians to ensure safe, timely, and high-quality execution of maintenance activities.
Maintain accurate equipment maintenance records and assist the I&C Engineer in spare parts management.
Prepare weekly maintenance work schedules and coordinate maintenance activities with the Operations team.
Prepare periodic maintenance reports, equipment failure analysis, and recommend corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with Permit to Work (PTW) and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
Maintain strict adherence to industrial safety standards and company HSE requirements.
Report directly to the I&C Engineer.
Skills Profile
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
Minimum 5–10 years of experience in Water Treatment or Desalination Plant Operation & Maintenance.
Strong knowledge of PLC systems, field instrumentation, control valves, transmitters, analyzers, and calibration procedures.
Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
Excellent troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
Strong leadership, communication, and team management abilities.
Good knowledge of Permit to Work (PTW), LOTO, and HSE regulations.
GCC/Saudi Arabia experience is preferred.
