Mechanical Technician (Static)
Water Treatment Plant Operation & Maintenance
FASTEP Arabia is seeking qualified and experienced Mechanical Technicians (Static) for Water Treatment Plant Operation & Maintenance projects.
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of all static equipment in the Water Treatment Plant.
Carry out maintenance, repair, and refurbishment of:
Media Filters
Cartridge Filters
Tanks
Structural Components
Piping Systems
Operate power tools such as grinding machines, cutting machines, and other mechanical equipment.
Use precision measuring tools, including vernier calipers, torque wrenches, and other mechanical instruments.
Perform overhauling, repair, and maintenance of various types of valves.
Carry out piping installation, gasket replacement, flange alignment, and bolt replacement activities.
Ensure compliance with all Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) policies and procedures.
Report maintenance activities and equipment status to the Mechanical Engineer.
Requirements
Diploma/ITI or equivalent technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
Proven experience in the maintenance of static equipment within Water Treatment Plants, Industrial Plants, or similar facilities.
Strong knowledge of filters, tanks, valves, piping systems, and structural maintenance.
Hands-on experience using power tools and precision measuring instruments.
Ability to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and corrective repairs.
GCC/Saudi Arabia experience is preferred.
