Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Cost Estimator Engineer – Precast Concrete to prepare accurate cost estimates, BOQs, and RFQs for precast concrete projects. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of precast production, pricing, and construction standards. Typical responsibilities for this role include reviewing drawings, quantifying materials, preparing detailed cost estimates, researching market prices, and coordinating with engineering and project teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Review tender documents, drawings, BOQs, and specifications.
• Prepare detailed take-offs for precast concrete; estimate costs for customized precast products
• Prepare project quotations and tender submissions.
• Coordinate with production, procurement, and sales departments.
• Obtain supplier quotations for raw materials and subcontract works.
• Analyze project risks and recommend cost-saving solutions.
• Maintain an updated cost database for materials, labor, transportation, and installation.
• Support negotiations during tender clarification.
Preferred Experience
• Precast factory experience.
• Knowledge of PCI standards and Saudi construction practices.
• Experience with infrastructure, commercial, residential, and industrial precast projects.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in precast concrete estimation.
• Experience in the Saudi Arabian construction market is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation and quantity surveying.
• Good communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).
