China Railway 18 Bureau is seeking an experienced Commercial Engineer to join our prestigious construction team. We are looking for professionals with extensive experience in managing the commercial aspects of large-scale high-rise building and 4/5-star hotel projects.
🤞Key Responsibilities
Manage all commercial and contractual activities throughout the project lifecycle.
Prepare, review, and administer contracts, subcontracts, and commercial agreements.
Prepare cost estimates, budgets, cash flow forecasts, and cost reports.
Monitor project costs and ensure adherence to approved budgets.
Evaluate variations, claims, and change orders, and negotiate commercial settlements.
Coordinate with the Quantity Surveying, Planning, Procurement, and Project Management teams.
Prepare interim payment applications and review subcontractor payment certificates.
Identify commercial risks and recommend effective mitigation strategies.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, contractual obligations, and company procedures.
Support tendering activities, bid evaluations, and contract negotiations.
Maintain accurate commercial documentation and project records.
Prepare commercial reports for senior management and clients.
🤞Mandatory Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related Engineering discipline.
Minimum 15+ years of professional experience in the construction industry.
At least 80% of total experience must be in High-Rise Building projects.
Mandatory experience in both High-Rise Buildings and 4/5-Star Hotel projects.
Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts, cost control, commercial management, and claims.
Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
Experience working with leading international construction companies will be an advantage.
Important Notice
Candidates who do not meet ALL of the following requirements will NOT be considered:
Minimum 15+ years of experience.
Proven High-Rise Building experience.
Proven 4/5-Star Hotel project experience.
80% of total career experience must be in High-Rise Building projects.
