China Railway 18 Bureau is looking for a highly experienced Contract Engineer to join our growing team. We are seeking a professional with extensive expertise in contract administration and management for high-rise building and 4/5-star hotel construction projects.
👍Key Responsibilities
Administer and manage all project contracts in accordance with contractual terms and conditions.
Review, interpret, and monitor contract documents, drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
Prepare, evaluate, and negotiate contract variations, change orders, claims, and extension of time (EOT) submissions.
Ensure compliance with FIDIC conditions of contract and other applicable contractual frameworks.
Coordinate with project teams, consultants, clients, and subcontractors on contractual matters.
Identify contractual risks and recommend effective mitigation strategies.
Prepare contractual correspondence, notices, and commercial documentation.
Assist in tender preparation, bid evaluation, and contract negotiations.
Monitor contractual obligations, project milestones, and deliverables.
Support dispute resolution, claim management, and contract close-out activities.
Maintain accurate contract records and prepare regular contractual reports for management.
👍Mandatory Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Law, or a related Engineering discipline.
Minimum 15+ years of experience in construction contract management.
At least 80% of total professional experience must be in High-Rise Building projects.
Mandatory experience in High-Rise Buildings and 4/5-Star Hotel construction projects.
Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts, contract administration, claims management, and dispute resolution.
Excellent negotiation, analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
Experience with international construction companies is highly preferred.
