Provide technical support to drivers, dispatchers, and operations staff for daily fleet operations.
Monitor and troubleshoot GPS tracking systems, cameras, communication devices, and other fleet equipment.
Coordinate with maintenance teams to report and resolve truck technical issues.
Maintain accurate records of truck condition, technical issues, repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities.
Prepare and maintain truck delivery and receiving records, including vehicle condition, mileage, fuel level, documents, and accessories.
Inspect trucks during delivery and receiving and record any damages, defects, or missing items.
Prepare driver authorization letters/permits for assigned trucks and ensure drivers are authorized to operate the vehicles.
Maintain records of driver authorizations, vehicle assignments, handover documents, and acknowledgment forms.
Verify driver and truck documents before releasing vehicles for operation.
Coordinate truck handover and receiving between drivers, operations, maintenance, and management.
Maintain an updated database of trucks, drivers, equipment, documents, and vehicle status.
Follow up with workshops and maintenance teams regarding pending repairs and vehicle readiness.
Ensure GPS devices, cameras, sensors, and other monitoring equipment are working properly before truck deployment.
Prepare daily and weekly reports covering truck availability, technical issues, repairs, deliveries, and received vehicles.
Maintain proper filing and record keeping of inspection reports, delivery/receiving forms, authorization letters, repair documents, and related records.
Coordinate emergency technical assistance for trucks that break down during operations.
Report major technical issues, vehicle damage, or documentation discrepancies to the Operations/Technical Manager.
Coordinate with external workshops, suppliers, and technical service providers when required.
Monitor recurring technical problems and recommend preventive actions to reduce truck downtime.
Ensure all truck handover, receiving, authorization, and technical records are properly updated and readily available for audit or management review.
