We are seeking a skilled Procurement Engineer with strong experience in specialist subcontractor packages to join our prestigious high-rise hotel complex project in Medina, Saudi Arabia. Candidates currently in KSA and available for immediate or short notice joining will be highly preferred.

🛒 Procurement Engineer (Specialist Subcontractors)
🏗️ Key Responsibilities
Manage tendering, sourcing, and evaluation for specialist subcontract packages including Fire Protection, ELV/Low Voltage, HVAC, Elevators, and Façade/Curtain Wall
Review drawings, specifications, and BOQs; prepare RFQs and coordinate technical clarifications with design teams
Source and prequalify local & international subcontractors; maintain approved vendor database in KSA
Lead commercial negotiations covering scope, pricing, payment terms, schedule, and contractual conditions
Control tender timelines, conduct bid evaluations, and submit recommendations to management
Coordinate subcontractor mobilisation, technical submittals, and shop drawing approvals
Support in resolving variations, claims, and payment-related issues
Ensure compliance with Saudi Building Code (SBC), Civil Defense regulations, and company procurement policies
Collaborate with Project Managers, MEP Engineers, QS, QC, and site teams to meet project objectives
✅ Key Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management
Minimum 5+ years of procurement experience in construction, focused on specialist subcontract packages
Strong technical knowledge of Fire Protection, ELV, HVAC, Elevators, and Façade systems
Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and BOQs
Experience in high-rise hotel projects (preferred)
Familiarity with Saudi / GCC subcontract market, SBC, and Civil Defense requirements (preferred)
Strong negotiation, coordination, and analytical skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel) and tendering procedures
Fluent in English (written & spoken)
