Location: Saudi Arabia
looking for a skilled Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial and contractual management of building construction projects. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in cost control, quantity surveying, and contract administration throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and review BOQs, quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and project budgets.
* Monitor project costs and assist in maintaining cost control throughout project execution.
* Prepare and evaluate variation orders, progress valuations, and main contractor payments.
* Assist in contract administration, claims, and commercial documentation.
* Review main contractor quotations and support procurement activities.
* Prepare cost reports, financial forecasts, and commercial analyses.
* Coordinate with project managers, consultants, main contractors, and clients to ensure commercial objectives are achieved.
* Ensure compliance with contract requirements and company commercial procedures.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
* Minimum 8–10 years of experience in quantity surveying for building construction projects with main contractors.
* Strong knowledge of cost estimation, BOQ preparation, contract administration, and cost control.
* Experience with residential, commercial, hospitality, or mixed-use building developments.
* Good understanding of FIDIC contracts, variation management, and claims.
* Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and quantity surveying software.
* Experience working in Saudi Arabia is preferred.
