Instrument Fitters For Leak Testing

Job Location: Fadhili
Long Time Project.

Preparation and Setup Blowing lines clear: Clearing debris, moisture, or dust from tubes by flushing or blowing air before test execution.
Isolating components: Ensuring sensitive instruments, gauges, or transmitters are disconnected or isolated to protect them from over-pressure damage. Connecting gear: Attaching test manifolds, nitrogen/air supply hoses, and pressure gauges according to safety rules. Test Execution Pressurizing systems: Slowly raising pressure in the impulse and tubing lines to the specified test level.
Applying bubble solution: Using soapy water or specialized leak-detection fluid on every fitting, connection, ferrule, and threaded joint. Inspecting joints: Systematically watching for forming bubbles or listening for pressure drops that indicate a leak. Correction and Documentation Fixing leaks: Depressurizing the line safely, tightening or replacing faulty fittings, and re-running the test until the assembly holds pressure completely. Safely depressurizing: Venting pressure in a controlled manner once the test is finished.
Logging results: Informing the quality control (QA/QC) inspector or supervisor and signing off on test completion sheets
