Project: Housing & Villa Construction
We are seeking a qualified and motivated Environmental Engineer to join our construction team for a large-scale housing and villa development project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure compliance with Saudi environmental laws, regulations, and project environmental requirements.
* Develop, implement, and monitor Environmental Management Plans (EMP).
* Conduct environmental inspections, audits, and site assessments.
* Monitor air quality, noise, dust, waste management, water usage, and pollution control measures.
* Prepare environmental reports and maintain required documentation.
* Coordinate with project management, HSE team, consultants, and government authorities.
* Conduct environmental awareness training for employees and subcontractors.
* Investigate environmental incidents and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
* Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
* Support sustainability initiatives and environmental compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering or a Related Discipline.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in environmental engineering within the construction industry.
* Previous experience in housing, villa, or infrastructure projects is highly preferred.
* Good knowledge of Saudi environmental regulations and construction environmental standards.
* Strong understanding of environmental impact assessment, waste management, pollution prevention, and sustainability practices.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
* Excellent communication and report writing skills in English.
* Available to join IMMEDIATELY
* Can work without transferring sponsorship (preferably freelance iqama)
Salary Package Range: SAR 10,000 - SAR 12,000
