Mechanical Technician (Tool & Material)

Key Responsibilities
Receive, inspect, store, and issue mechanical tools, equipment, and construction materials.
Maintain proper inventory records and ensure accurate tracking of tools and materials.
Inspect tools and equipment for serviceability and report damaged or defective items.
Support mechanical maintenance, construction, and shutdown teams by ensuring timely availability of tools and materials.
Coordinate with warehouse, procurement, and site supervisors to meet project requirements.
Maintain tool storage areas in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
Comply with company HSE policies and quality procedures.
Qualifications & Experience
Diploma, ITI, or Technical Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in tool control, material handling, or mechanical maintenance within oil & gas, petrochemical, or industrial projects.
Knowledge of mechanical tools, equipment, fittings, valves, and industrial materials.
Familiarity with inventory management and material control procedures.
Basic computer knowledge for maintaining inventory records is preferred.
