Position: Logistics & Warehouse Manager
Location: Bahrain
Salary: 800 BHD (depending on experience)
Experience Requirements:
8–12+ years in logistics, warehousing, and supply chain.
Minimum 4–5 years in a managerial role.
Experience in a manufacturing environment (fiberglass, chemicals, plastics, steel, construction materials, or similar industries preferred).
GCC experience is mandatory.
Education:
Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
Professional certifications such as APICS/ASCM, CILT, or CSCMP will be an advantage.
Technical Skills:
Inventory management and warehouse operations.
Import/export procedures and documentation.
Freight forwarding and shipping industry knowledge.
Customs clearance and transport management (road and sea).
ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.).
Advanced Microsoft Excel.
Operational Experience:
Export‑oriented manufacturing.
Handling containers and sea freights.
Hazardous or industrial materials.
GCC customs procedures.
Working with shipping lines (MSC, CMA CGM, Maersk, Hapag‑Lloyd).
Sound knowledge of Incoterms.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage inbound and outbound logistics.
Negotiate with freight forwarders and shipping lines.
Monitor logistics costs and identify savings opportunities.
Ensure compliance with customs and safety regulations.
Manage warehouse operations and lead logistics teams.
Optimize inventory levels and warehouse space.
Develop KPIs and improve operational performance.
Coordinate with production, sales, procurement, and customer service.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives.
Leadership Competencies:
Strong people management.
Decision‑making under pressure and problem‑solving.
Negotiation and communication with customers and suppliers.
Cost‑conscious mindset.
Process improvement experience (Lean Management or Six Sigma is a plus).
