PBT remained unchanged at Rs 225.00/kg in Ahmedabad this week, maintaining the highest level recorded during the past year. Indian PBT prices had increased by Rs 10.00/kg over the preceding fortnight before settling at the current level. Weekly trading has since remained stable, with limited movement around the latest domestic market assessment.
The longer-term comparisons show that the present price follows a substantial increase. PBT is Rs 35.00/kg higher than it was three months earlier, and the six-month comparison also shows a rise of Rs 35.00/kg. PBT prices in India have gained Rs 80.00/kg year-on-year, placing the current market considerably above the corresponding level from the previous year.
The annual trading range extends from Rs 138.00/kg at the lower end to Rs 225.00/kg at the upper end. Support is identified near Rs 215.00/kg, while resistance is located at Rs 225.00/kg. The product is therefore trading directly at the stated resistance level and annual high, although the weekly assessment itself has remained unchanged.
