Indian ABS Prices

ABS remained unchanged at Rs 200.00/kg in Ahmedabad this week, extending a period of stable domestic trading. Indian ABS prices have increased by Rs 7.00/kg over the past fortnight, showing a recovery from the lower levels recorded earlier. The product is also Rs 6.00/kg higher than it was one month ago, although the latest weekly assessment itself shows no change.
The three-month comparison is weaker, with the current price Rs 7.00/kg below its earlier level. ABS prices in India nevertheless remain substantially higher on a year-on-year basis, recording an increase of Rs 55.00/kg. The annual market range has extended from Rs 139.00/kg at the lower end to Rs 232.00/kg at the upper end, demonstrating the wide variation seen during the period.
Current support is identified around Rs 193.00/kg, while resistance is positioned near Rs 207.00/kg. At Rs 200.00/kg, the market is located close to the midpoint of that stated range. Recent activity has been relatively stable, with limited volatility and no weekly movement.
