Responsibilities
Develop and customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JSON templates.
Build responsive, mobile-first eCommerce websites.
Create custom sections, templates, and Shopify app integrations.
Optimize website performance, Core Web Vitals, and page speed.
Implement pixel tracking (Meta, Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, TikTok, etc.).
Troubleshoot bugs and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
Integrate third-party APIs and Shopify apps.
Work closely with designers and marketers to implement new features.
Maintain website security, backups, and regular updates.
Follow SEO best practices for Shopify.
Requirements
1+ years of Shopify development experience.
Strong knowledge of:
Shopify Admin
Shopify Liquid
HTML5
CSS3 / SCSS
JavaScript (ES6+)
jQuery (preferred)
Experience with Shopify 2.0 theme architecture.
Experience using Git/GitHub.
Understanding of Shopify APIs and app integrations.
Familiarity with responsive design principles.
Basic understanding of SEO and page speed optimization.
Ability to debug and solve technical issues independently.
Nice to Have
Experience with Shopify Plus.
Experience building custom Shopify apps.
Knowledge of React, Next.js, or Hydrogen.
Experience with headless Shopify.
Familiarity with AI tools for development.
