Indian SAN Prices

SAN moved higher in Ahmedabad, closing at Rs 214.00/kg after gaining Rs 2.00/kg from the previous day. Indian SAN prices have recorded an equivalent Rs 2.00/kg increase over the fortnight, showing a gradual improvement within an otherwise stable market. The latest movement remains limited in scale, and recent trading continues to reflect relatively low volatility.
The current assessment is still Rs 8.00/kg below the price recorded one month earlier. Over the past three months, SAN has declined by Rs 3.00/kg, showing that the latest increase has not fully reversed the broader short-term reduction. During the past six months, prices have traded between approximately Rs 205.00/kg and Rs 222.00/kg. The latest price therefore remains within the established range and below the recent upper marker.
Indian SAN prices are considerably stronger on a year-on-year comparison. The current Rs 214.00/kg level is Rs 82.00/kg higher than the Rs 132.00/kg assessment recorded one year ago. SAN prices in India consequently show a substantial annual recovery despite the moderate monthly and three-month declines.
Support is observed near Rs 212.00/kg, with resistance around Rs 222.00/kg.
