Urgent Hiring: Mechanical Inspector

Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified Mechanical Inspector with 5+ years of site inspection experience to monitor, inspect, and verify all mechanical installations across our construction projects in Riyadh. The successful candidate will ensure that HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage, and Firefighting systems are installed strictly according to approved engineering drawings, project specifications, and local Saudi codes.
Key Responsibilities
•
Site Inspections: Perform daily field inspections for HVAC ducting/piping, plumbing networks, drainage, pumps, chillers, and firefighting installations.
•
Inspection Requests: Review, execute, and sign off on Work Inspection Requests (WIR) and Material Inspection Requests (MIR) alongside consultant inspectors.
•
Compliance & QA/QC: Enforce project QA/QC plans, ensuring all materials delivered to site match approved submittals and are stored/installed properly.
•
Testing & Witnessing: Witness pressure testing of piping networks (hydrostatic/pneumatic), duct leak testing, and preliminary T&C procedures.
•
Defect Tracking: Identify site non-conformances, issue Snag Lists / NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), and verify corrective actions taken by site crews.
Required Qualifications & Certifications
•
Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Technology.
•
Experience: Minimum 5 years as a Mechanical/MEP Inspector on building construction or infrastructure projects.
•
Mandatory Registration: Active registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) (Technician / Inspector level).
•
Certifications (Preferred):
o
AWS / CSWIP (for welding inspections on chilled water or fire lines).
o
ASNT Level II (UT/PT/RT) for non-destructive testing (NDT).
o
OSHA or NEBOSH Safety Certificate.
•
Codes & Standards: Working knowledge of Saudi Building Codes (SBC), NFPA (Firefighting), IPC/UPC (Plumbing), and SMACNA/ASHRAE (HVAC).
