Key Responsibilities
AutoCAD Drafting
Prepare accurate 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD.
Develop site plans, floor plans, elevations, sections, and General Arrangement (GA) drawings.
Prepare shop drawings, as-built drawings, and detailed construction drawings.
Revise drawings according to engineering comments and client requirements.
Maintain drawing registers, layers, blocks, and document control.
Coordinate with civil, structural, architectural, MEP, and project engineers.
Laboratory Testing & Quality Control
Perform laboratory and field testing of concrete, soil, aggregates, asphalt, and other construction materials.
Conduct slump tests, cube compression tests, sieve analysis, moisture content tests, compaction tests, density tests, and CBR tests.
Collect and document field samples according to project specifications.
Prepare laboratory reports and maintain testing records.
Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment.
Ensure compliance with ASTM, AASHTO, BS, and project quality standards.
Support QA/QC activities throughout project execution.
Estimation & Quantity Surveying
Review construction drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
Perform quantity take-offs and prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
Estimate material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
Prepare detailed cost estimates, bid documents, and commercial proposals.
Analyze project risks and recommend cost-effective solutions.
Assist with budget monitoring, variation orders, and cost control during project execution.
