Geologist/Material Engineer/Geotechnical Engineer/GIS Analyst/Civil Material Testing

My name is Baram Khan Geologist / Materials Testing Laboratory Engineer based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with a BS in Geology from the University of Malakand and roughly 4 years of combined field and laboratory experience in geotechnical and materials testing.

I am currently working as a Materials Testing Laboratory Engineer at ACTS (Advance Construction Technology Services) in Riyadh, where I reviews and inspects geotechnical and concrete submittals, witnesses field/lab testing (Proctor compaction, field density, core-drilling, asphalt testing), validates soil and concrete test results, and maintains QA/QC documentation in line with ISO 17025 and ISO 9001:2015. Prior roles include a Materials Testing Lab Technician position at Altayyab Geotechnical Lab and a Geological Field Intern role with the Geological Society of Pakistan, with hands-on exposure to soil boring, SPT logging, GIS-based field mapping, and geotechnical report preparation.

I am skilled in SPT, DCPT, plate load testing, Atterberg limits, sieve analysis, and CBR testing, applies ASTM, BS 5930, AASHTO, SASO, ACI, and PEC standards, and proficient in PLAXIS 2D, GeoStudio, AutoCAD, and ArcGIS. I am a Pakistani national with a transferable Iqama, available immediately.
