Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and revise electrical shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built drawings.
• Develop detailed layouts for power, lighting, low-current, and other electrical systems.
• Coordinate drawings with architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines to resolve clashes and design
conflicts.
• Ensure all drawings comply with approved specifications, project standards, and relevant electrical
codes.
• Incorporate consultant comments and site modifications into updated drawings.
• Coordinate with site engineers and project teams to support construction activities.
• Maintain drawing registers and ensure proper document control throughout the project.
• Assist in preparing material take-offs and drawing submissions as required.
Qualifications
• Diploma or Technical Qualification in Drafting, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related discipline.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit is an advantage.
• Good understanding of electrical systems and MEP coordination.
Experience
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience as an Electrical Draftsman in construction projects.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in hospitality (hotel) projects is required.
• Strong knowledge of electrical shop drawings, coordination drawings, and construction documentation.
Skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
• Ability to manage multiple drawing revisions in a fast-paced construction environment.
