In my role as an HSE Officer, I am responsible for implementing HSE policies, conducting hazard identification and risk assessments, managing the Permit to Work system for high-risk activities such as hot work, excavation, lifting operations, working at height, and confined space entry. I regularly conduct site inspections, deliver toolbox talks and safety training, monitor contractor safety performance, and ensure PPE compliance.
I also carry out incident and near-miss investigations, prepare reports, and coordinate emergency drills and fire safety arrangements in coordination with clients, consultants, and contractors.
