Position: Lifting Supervisor
We are looking for an experienced and qualified Lifting Supervisor to join our team for the long-term Qurayyah Hajr-2 Expansion Project in Saudi Arabia.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate all lifting and rigging activities at the project site.
Ensure lifting operations are carried out safely and in accordance with approved lifting plans and project procedures.
Supervise riggers, crane operators, and lifting crews during daily operations.
Inspect lifting equipment, lifting accessories, slings, shackles, spreader beams, hooks, and other rigging equipment before use.
Ensure all lifting equipment and accessories have valid inspection certificates and color coding.
Coordinate with the lifting team, site supervisors, safety department, and project management.
Ensure proper selection and safe use of cranes and lifting accessories according to load requirements.
Verify load weight, lifting radius, center of gravity, ground conditions, and crane capacity before lifting.
Stop any unsafe lifting operation and take immediate corrective action.
Ensure compliance with Saudi Aramco / client / project HSE and lifting requirements, as applicable.
Maintain lifting records, inspection checklists, permits, and other required documentation.
Conduct toolbox talks and lifting briefings before critical lifting activities.
Monitor lifting operations and ensure proper communication between crane operators and rigging personnel.
Support preparation and implementation of lifting plans and method statements.
Ensure compliance with applicable international lifting and rigging standards and project procedures.
Candidate Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as a Lifting Supervisor, preferably in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power Plant, Industrial, or major Construction Projects.
Experience in supervising heavy lifting and crane operations is highly preferred.
Previous experience in Saudi Arabia / GCC projects is an advantage.
Strong knowledge of lifting, rigging, crane operations, lifting accessories, and lifting safety requirements.
Ability to read and understand lifting plans, crane load charts, method statements, and risk assessments.
Good communication and leadership skills.
Must be able to coordinate effectively with crane operators, riggers, safety personnel, and site management.
Candidates with experience in major EPC / Oil & Gas projects will be preferred.
