Job Description: What You Will Do
Collaborate with stakeholders: Work with clients and technical resources to identify business problems and develop the right analytical solutions.
Process design: Plan and design simple to semi-complex business processes and system modifications.
Optimize operations: Make recommendations to improve and support business activities.
Gather requirements: Conduct work sessions and interviews to analyze, document, and communicate complex business requirements to appropriate parties.
Oversee testing: Create complex test case scenarios and monitor business application testing to ensure all client requirements are incorporated into the system design.
Documentation: Develop business requirements documents (BRDs) and user stories to support required modifications.
Leadership: Plan, allocate, and monitor the work of other business analysts as needed.
Data analysis: Understand complex systems and data to surface actionable insights using sound judgment and decision-making skills.
Project estimation: Assist in providing accurate time estimates for project-related tasks.
Maintain documentation: Aid in updating process and procedural documentation.
Technical awareness: Develop a strong understanding of the technical development cycle for mobile applications and web portals.
Project lifecycle support: Support QA, UAT, and Release phases of the project via defect analysis and change maintenance.
Ad-hoc duties: Complete any other tasks that may be assigned.
Requirements
Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
Education: A degree in Business, IT, or a relevant field.
Industry background: Previous experience working in the insurance industry is required.
Certifications: Health Insurance-related domain certification from INS, LOMA, or III is an added advantage.
Methodology: Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks, including prioritizing work into epics and sprints.
Core skills: Proven business analysis skills, including facilitation, process documentation, requirements gathering, and user acceptance testing.
Time management: Excellent organizational skills to prioritize work and meet deadlines within defined timeframes.
Frameworks: Experience working in an Agile and/or Scrum environment is a must.
Technical documentation: Basic knowledge of generating process documentation, system functionality documents, data integration maps, and workflows.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Thai.
Bonus skills: Technical writing skills are a plus.
Residency: Must be currently based in Thailand.
