Job Purpose:
We are seeking an experienced Revit BIM Draftsman to join our Technical Office team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing coordinated BIM models and producing accurate construction drawings for high-quality residential and commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Create, develop, and update BIM models using Autodesk Revit.
Produce models and drawings across architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.
Prepare detailed architectural and structural shop drawings.
Extract schedules, quantities, and material take-offs from Revit models.
Review and update drawings based on consultant comments and site requirements.
Prepare accurate as-built drawings following project completion.
Develop and modify Revit families according to project requirements.
Coordinate models and identify potential clashes between different disciplines.
Ensure drawings comply with approved specifications, project standards, the Saudi Building Code, and relevant authority requirements.
Maintain proper documentation, drawing revisions, and BIM file organization.
Coordinate with engineers, consultants, contractors, and site teams to resolve technical issues.
Complete assigned tasks within agreed project schedules and deadlines.
Qualifications and Experience:
Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Drafting, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 3 years of practical experience using Autodesk Revit.
Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
Good knowledge of architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
Solid understanding of shop drawings, construction details, and technical documentation.
Familiarity with Navisworks or other BIM coordination and clash-detection software.
Experience in creating and managing Revit families.
Knowledge of BIM workflows, standards, and model coordination.
Familiarity with the Saudi Building Code and local authority requirements.
Previous experience in villas and residential developments is preferred.
