Position: In-Charge Fabrication or Senior Engineer Fabrication Shop
Job Summary: To oversees shop, fabricate piping spools according to engineering isometric drawings, welding procedures, and project deadlines with strict QA/QC compliance. Responsibility includes to leads workshop and site-based teams, coordinates with engineering and QA/QC, and supports installation interfaces to ensure successful delivery of fabricated spools and assemblies, supervising fitters and welders, interpreting engineering drawings, enforcing code required standards, and conducting dimensional and weld inspections.
Requirements:
· Engineer / Diploma certification in mechanical or fabrication fields with QC Certification CSWIP 3.1, AWS-CWI or valid Aramco/local QC approvals are highly preferred.
· Minimum of 7 years’ experience, 3 years of which in a supervisory or managerial position, preferably in a fabrication shop or construction industry
· Proficient in reading isometric drawings, piping plans, and MTOs, WPS/PQR review, and dimensional verification.
· Extensive knowledge of ASME B31.1, B31.3, Section IX, API piping standards
· Familiarity with welding and NDT processes
· Valid transferable Iqama (if based locally in Saudi Arabia) would be preferrable.
