Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to support mechanical activities on the SASREF project in Jubail. The successful candidate should have strong hands-on experience in rotating equipment, compressors, mechanical installation, precision alignment and leveling, with the ability to supervise mechanical activities safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
• Supervise mechanical installation and erection activities for compressors and rotating equipment.
• Lead and coordinate mechanical technicians during site activities.
• Ensure proper precision alignment and leveling of rotating equipment using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Supervise torquing, bolting and mechanical assembly activities in accordance with approved procedures.
• Review work requirements, drawings and applicable technical specifications before execution.
• Ensure mechanical installation activities are completed safely, correctly and within the required schedule.
• Coordinate with the project, construction, QA/QC and HSE teams as required.
• Monitor the quality of mechanical installation and identify/rectify technical issues.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and safe working practices within the work area.
• Support inspection, testing and completion activities as required.
• Provide technical guidance and direction to mechanical technicians.
• Ensure compliance with site procedures and client requirements.
Mandatory Requirements
• Proven experience as a Mechanical Supervisor / Mechanical Foreman in Oil & Gas, petrochemical, refinery or similar industrial projects.
• Strong hands-on experience with compressors and rotating machinery.
• Proven experience in precision alignment and leveling of rotating equipment.
• Good knowledge of torquing and bolting practices.
• Experience in mechanical installation and erection of compressors and rotating equipment.
• Ability to supervise a mechanical crew and coordinate site activities.
• Ability to work Day/Night shifts as required.
• Immediate availability / short-notice joining is strongly preferred.
• Must be willing to accept a 1–2 week project-based assignment.
