Key Responsibilities:
• Modification and validation of DCS control logic.
• Development and revision of DCS HMI graphics for new and modified equipment.
• PLC/DCS software configuration, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Integration of newly installed equipment with the existing control system.
• Instrument loop checks, signal verification, commissioning, and startup support.
• Implementation and verification of alarms, interlocks, permissives, and operating sequences.
• Temporary bypassing, forcing, testing, and restoration of SIS/SIL functions during commissioning and maintenance activities, in accordance with approved MOC, PTW, and risk assessment procedures.
• Troubleshooting and resolving automation and instrumentation issues during plant operation, particularly ABB system-related issues.
• Support the Gasification Project and initiate the Scope of Work (SOW) related to automation activities.
• Provide technical support for ongoing post-commissioning activities and equipment modifications at the plant.
Preferred Experience:
• Hands-on experience with ABB DCS systems is highly preferred.
• Experience in DCS/PLC configuration, commissioning, troubleshooting, and plant modifications.
• Experience with instrumentation, SIS/SIL, control logic, HMI, alarms, and interlocks.
• Industrial plant/project experience preferred.
