Gear blanks, pinion and drive shafts, splines, and housings machined with edge condition and burr control treated as specified requirements rather than afterthoughts. Cross-drilled oil passages flushed and verified, not just drilled.
Finish allowances planned so hard machining doesn't cut into effective case depth. Washing and inspection before dispatch, because a burr that breaks loose in a closed oil circuit damages bearings and tooth flanks a long way from where it started.
