Job Summary
We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Store Helper to support the day-to-day activities of the warehouse/store. The successful candidate will assist with receiving, loading, unloading, arranging, picking, packing, and delivering materials while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in loading and unloading goods, materials, tools, and equipment.
• Receive incoming materials and assist in checking quantities and physical condition.
• Arrange and organize stock in designated storage locations.
• Assist the Storekeeper in picking and preparing materials for delivery.
• Pack and label items properly before dispatch.
• Assist with moving materials between the warehouse, showroom, and delivery areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping within the store and warehouse.
• Support regular stock counting and physical inventory activities.
• Handle materials carefully to prevent damage or loss.
• Follow company procedures related to warehouse operations, safety, and security.
• Assist delivery drivers with loading and unloading when required.
• Report damaged, missing, or incorrectly received items to the Storekeeper/Supervisor.
• Perform other store and warehouse-related duties assigned by the management.
Requirements
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a warehouse, store, logistics, or similar role is preferred.
• Physically fit and capable of handling and moving materials.
• Basic understanding of warehouse/store operations.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual, hardworking, and responsible.
• Ability to follow instructions and company procedures.
• Basic reading and communication skills in English.
• Previous experience in tools, hardware, building materials, or industrial products will be an advantage.
Working Conditions
• Work will primarily be carried out in a warehouse/store environment.
• The role may require lifting, carrying, and moving materials.
• May be required to work additional hours based on operational requirements.
