An experienced L1 Infrastructure Engineer for an on-site enterprise resident role in Dammam. Candidate will handle daily operations, monitoring, and first-level support for VMware vSphere, Dell VxRail, and RHEL servers.
Key Duties:
1. RHEL OS health checks, log reviews, and Pacemaker cluster checks.
2. L1 troubleshooting for virtual machines, hosts, storage alerts, and routine backups.
3. VM provisioning, resource adjustments, and timely VM snapshot removal.
4. Continuous monitoring and health checks of VMware vSphere and VxRail clusters.
5. Linux LVM disk expansion and Network Teaming/Bonding maintenance.
6. Ticketing with Dell EMC and coordinating VxRail hardware/software upgrades.
7. Incident logging, patch application, and strict Change Management adherence.
Requirements:
Proven experience in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and preferable experience in VMware vSphere / VxRail.
Hands-on knowledge of LVM, Pacemaker clusters, and Linux storage management.
Good communication skills and ITIL ticketing experience.
KSA Transferable Iqama or immediate joiners preferred.
