VFFS (Vertical Form Fill Seal) machine operator vacancies are widely available in food, beverage, and consumer goods manufacturing. Job duties include setting up packaging lines, adjusting seals and weights, performing basic troubleshooting, and minimizing material waste.
Key Responsibilities
• Setup & Calibration: Change film rolls, adjust forming collars, and configure weight or auger filler settings.
• Quality Control: Monitor seal integrity, package weight accuracy, and date/batch coding.
• Maintenance: Clear jams, perform first-level mechanical troubleshooting, and conduct routine preventive maintenance.
• Safety & Compliance: Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and maintain a clean 5S work area.
Typical Requirements
• Experience: 1 to 3 years operating automated packaging equipment or VFFS/HFFS machinery.
• Skills: Basic mechanical aptitude, problem-solving abilities, and familiarity with safety standards.
• Physical: Ability to stand for long shifts and lift packaging materials.
• 10 hours’ duty.
• Weekly day off.
