We are looking for an experienced and skilled Bread & Pizza Maker / Baker to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate should have strong professional experience in both bread making and pizza preparation.
Job Responsibilities
* Prepare, mix, knead, portion, shape, proof, and bake different types of bread and bakery products.
* Prepare pizza dough from scratch, including mixing, kneading, fermentation, portioning, and proofing.
* Stretch, shape, and hand-toss pizza dough according to the required size and style.
* Prepare pizza sauces, toppings, cheese, and other ingredients.
* Operate commercial ovens and pizza ovens safely and efficiently.
* Ensure bread and pizzas are properly baked with consistent quality, texture, taste, and presentation.
* Prepare different types of bread and pizzas according to the restaurant’s recipes and menu.
* Monitor dough fermentation, proofing times, baking temperatures, and cooking times.
* Maintain consistent portion sizes and product quality.
* Keep the bakery and pizza stations clean, organized, and fully stocked.
* Check ingredient quality and ensure proper storage.
* Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
* Minimize food waste and maintain efficient ingredient usage.
* Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure orders are prepared accurately and on time.
* Handle busy service periods efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
Requirements
* Minimum 2 years of professional experience in bread making and pizza making is preferred.
* Proven experience preparing bread and pizza dough from scratch.
* Strong knowledge of dough preparation, fermentation, proofing, stretching, shaping, and baking techniques.
* Hands-on experience operating commercial ovens and pizza ovens.
* Experience preparing different types and styles of bread and pizza is an advantage.
* Ability to consistently produce high-quality products during busy service.
* Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
* Attention to detail and strong commitment to quality.
* Reliable, punctual, hardworking, and able to work as part of a team.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
