I am writing to express my interest in the Project Manager (MEP) position and related opportunities
within project and subcontract management. With 20+ years of experience in MEP construction and
project management, including extensive experience in the Middle East, I have developed strong
expertise in managing multidisciplinary projects, subcontractors, commercial matters, and stakeholder
coordination from project inception through completion and handover.
Throughout my career, I have been extensively involved in the planning, execution, supervision,
commercial coordination, and close-out of MEP projects, with a strong focus on contractual
compliance, cost control, progress monitoring, quality, HSE, schedule adherence, and successful
project delivery.
In addition to my technical and project management responsibilities, I have substantial experience in
subcontract administration and commercial coordination, including reviewing subcontractor invoices,
progress payment applications, supporting documents, measurement records, and payment
certificates. I have also been involved in the preparation and evaluation of variation orders, claims,
extensions of time, commercial evaluations, and other contractual matters, ensuring that project
records and supporting documentation are properly maintained.
My experience further includes maintaining accurate contract records, project correspondence,
notices, commercial documentation, progress reports, and payment-related records, while
coordinating closely with Project Management, Planning, Engineering, Procurement, Construction,
Finance, and HR/Manpower teams.
I am comfortable working in multicultural and multinational project environments, including
coordination with international contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers. I understand
the importance of clear communication, contractual awareness, timely follow-up, and maintaining
professional relationships with all project stakeholders while ensuring subcontractors comply with
project, client, HSE, quality, and contractual requirements.
My technical background covers Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, HVAC, Fire Alarm, Fire-Fighting,
ELV, Low-Voltage, and communication systems, including installation, testing, pre-commissioning,
commissioning, troubleshooting, optimization, and handover. I also have extensive experience in
shop drawing and design review, material and technical submittals, MIR/WIR inspections, method
statements, procurement coordination, technical clarifications, progress monitoring, site coordination,
and resolution of technical and commercial issues.
As a senior MEP professional, I bring a strong combination of technical expertise, project leadership,
subcontract management, commercial awareness, contract coordination, problem-solving, and
stakeholder management. My ability to understand both the technical and commercial aspects of
MEP works enables me to effectively support project objectives while protecting contractual
requirements and maintaining progress.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, which provides a strong technical
foundation for managing complex MEP and construction activities. I am confident that my experience
and multidisciplinary background would allow me to make a valuable contribution to your organization
