We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Delivery Van Helper to support our logistical and delivery operations. In this role, you will assist van drivers with loading, unloading, and safely transporting goods to target destinations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Loading and Unloading: Carefully load merchandise onto the delivery van before departure and unload items securely at each delivery destination.
2. Order Verification: Double-check delivery invoices, cargo manifests, and package tags to ensure accurate order counts and correct destination addresses.
3. Cargo Handling & Securing: Secure packages, crates, and fragile items using straps, padding, or tie-downs to prevent damage during transport.
4. Customer Delivery Assistance: Assist in hand-delivering packages directly to customers, retail outlets, or warehouses in a polite and professional manner.
5. Route & Navigation Support: Assist the van driver with directions, route tracking, parking coordination, and maintaining delivery schedules.
6. Vehicle & Goods Maintenance: Keep the van's cargo area clean and organized, assist with paperwork/receipt signatures, and report any damaged items immediately.
Monthly Salary: AED 2000 – AED 3000
