Key Responsibilities
Prepare accurate 2D AutoCAD drawings for laser cutting and fabrication.
Create and modify DXF/DWG files according to production requirements.
Prepare cutting layouts and optimize material usage.
Ensure drawings meet required dimensions, tolerances, and fabrication standards.
Coordinate with production and fabrication teams to resolve drawing-related issues.
Review drawings before releasing them for laser cutting.
Modify existing drawings based on engineering and production requirements.
Requirements
2–3 years of practical experience in AutoCAD 2D drafting.
Experience preparing drawings/files for CNC Laser Cutting Machines.
Good knowledge of DXF/DWG file preparation.
Ability to read and understand engineering/fabrication drawings.
Good knowledge of dimensions, tolerances, and basic fabrication practices.
Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines.
Experience in sheet-metal or steel fabrication will be an advantage.
