Key Responsibilities:
Color Matching: Accurately match vehicle paint colors using color codes, spectrometers, and manual tinting techniques.
Paint Mixing: Prepare and mix basecoats, clears, primers, and custom colors according to manufacturer specifications.
Inventory Management: Monitor paint supplies, mixing cups, solvents, and materials, and report reorder needs.
Quality Control: Inspect mixed paints and test spray cards to ensure exact shade accuracy before application.
Maintenance: Keep the mixing room, scale, and equipment clean, organized, and properly calibrated.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Location Requirement: Applicants must currently be in Bahrain at the time of applying.
Experience: Proven experience working as a paint mixer or automotive refinisher in a professional garage or body shop.
Technical Skills: Strong understanding of automotive paint systems (e.g., PPG, DuPont/Axalta, Glasurit, etc.) and color theory.
Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to distinguish subtle color hues and shades.
Reliability: Strong work ethic, ability to work independently or as part of a team, and commitment to workshop safety standards.
