Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT & OT Technician to oversee, maintain, and secure both our enterprise IT infrastructure and industrial Operational Technology (OT) environment. In this role, you will bridge the gap between traditional IT (networking, servers, user support) and OT systems (PLCs, SCADA, industrial automation networks, IoT devices) to ensure high availability, seamless integration, and strong cybersecurity across all operational layers.

Key Responsibilities

OT & Industrial Systems: Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain industrial network infrastructure, SCADA, PLCs, DCS, and IoT edge devices.

IT Infrastructure Support: Support corporate enterprise hardware, virtual servers, cloud integration, active directory, and end-user IT systems.

Network & Security Integration: Implement segmentation (Purdue Model standards), firewalls, VPNs, and access controls between IT and OT network boundaries.

Incident Response & Maintenance: Rapidly diagnose and resolve technical incidents across plant-floor systems and office IT setups to minimize downtime.

Vendor & Asset Management: Partner with automation vendors, maintain system documentation, and track hardware/software inventory.

Requirements & Qualifications

Experience: 3–5+ years in a hybrid IT/OT role within manufacturing, energy, utilities, or industrial environments.

Networking & IT Skills: Proficiency in TCP/IP, VLANs, subnetting, VPNs, Active Directory, Windows/Linux OS, and cybersecurity fundamentals.

OT & Automation Skills: Familiarity with industrial protocols (Modbus, EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, OPC UA) and SCADA/PLC environments.

Certifications (Preferred): CompTIA Network+/Security+, Cisco CCNA, or GIAC Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP).

Soft Skills: Strong analytical problem-solving abilities and clear communication across technical and non-technical teams.
