We are hiring an experienced Firestop Inspector for projects in Saudi Arabia.
Key Requirements:
- UL Firestop Inspector Certification (mandatory)
- Diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in firestop inspection, passive fire protection, firestop installation, or QA/QC
- Strong knowledge of UL-listed firestop systems, fire-rated assemblies, and passive fire protection requirements
Experience inspecting:
- Fire-rated walls and floors
- Shaft walls
- Expansion joints
- Curtain wall perimeter fire barriers
- Familiarity with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other MEP penetrations
- Good understanding of construction quality standards, inspection procedures, and QA/QC requirements
- Strong reporting, communication, and coordination skills
Main Responsibilities:
- Inspect firestop installations and verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, UL systems, and project requirements
- Identify non-conformities and provide inspection reports
- Support WIR inspections and coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project teams
- Ensure firestop works are installed according to approved standards and manufacturer requirements
